SAN ANTONIO – March 31, 2020 — Junior League of San Antonio (JLSA), an all-women led volunteer organization, has appointed Katie McGee as its new Executive Director. McGee brings over 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, community programming, volunteer management and human resource management to her role. She will guide the execution of JLSA’s strategic plan to continue to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve our communities.
McGee brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit fundraising and volunteer management. She served as the Executive Director of the Tarrant County Medical Society in Fort Worth, Texas where she led a program to connect business partnerships and healthcare providers, resulting in $1,000,000 in healthcare to those in need, in the first year. Katie also brings a breadth of appreciation and passion for the mission and vision of the organization, having served as an Active Member and Sustainer of the Junior League of San Antonio.

McGee began her role at JLSA on March 30, 2020. The Board of Directors and staff are fully committed to McGee’s successful leadership within the Junior League of San Antonio.
